Akshardham Temple - A Fabulous creation

When in December 2010 I first visited Delhi there I stayed for 10 days. I still remember those fabulous 10 days. And it was the most soul string of my life.

There I visited most wonderful places if India/ Delhi, I visited Red Fort, jama masjid, Taj Mahal at Agra, Rastrapati Bhavan, Lotus Temple, swaminarayan Akshardham Temple etc.

Swaminarayan Akshardham is one of the biggest and beautiful creation I have ever seen. Akshardham has to be truely 8th wonder if the world. This is amazing temple situated in the capital city of India. A fabulous temple which is built from the combination of marble stone, sand stone, and wood.

Gajendra pith

Gajendra pith is unique feature of Akshardham mandir. There are panels on the wall of temple. Every panel reflects stories of legends of elephants with nature man and god. It also reflects the massage of social Harmony.

108 Gaumukhs

Here you can hear the sound of water falling from 108 Gaumukhs. The soft hearing of holy names of God giving the experience of peace and divinity.

Yagnapurush kund

Yagnapurush kund which  is a combination  of a vedic yagna khud and musical foundation. It is worlds largest yagna khud. This yagna khud is in the shape of lotus.

Ten gates 

Along the welcome pathway there are 10 gates representing 10 directions.

Mayur Dwar ( Peacock gate )

The two mayur Dwar ( peacock gate) that has so many peacocks in different shapes, sizes and poses, it is truly an amazing experience to see the beauty of peacocks.

Miracle in stone - ceilings and Domes 

Ceilings and Domes are carved in very beautiful way. The mandapamas are capped with beautiful, unique domes and ceilings. This reflects the beauty and beauty reflects the creation.

Stone Heritage - Mandovar 

The external wall of this temple is known as Mandovar, Akshardham Mandovar is largest and most intricately carved Mandovar built in India last eight hundred years

Pillars 

In this temple there are many pillars and each pillars have the different set of carvings. This carvings are amazing and gorgeous.

The visit to Akshardham is very spiritual enriching experience. Swaminarayan Akshardham has been recorded as the Guinness book of world record for being the world biggest comprehensive Hindu temple. This temple represents art, beauty and spirituality of our nation. I felt a great pleasure when I visited this great monument of India.
I had very much joy visiting this temple. I like the artitecture of this temple. The think that I liked most here temple. The thing that I liked the most here was the Gajendra pith. This is very great temple I have ever visited in my life ...
